Great App... if you use without Wifi.
This app... well, it's really good for using Halo Reach sounds, and that's great. However, the sheer amount of ads make it literally unusable... unless you disable Wifi and Data usage. Then, you can finally use it as intended. It would be five stars if you didn't have to jump through those hoops to literally use the dang app...
Solution to ads
If you have this app on iPhone, an easy way to get rid of ads is to go to Settings(Apple)/Halo Sounds/Cellular Data and disable cellular data. As long as you use a cell phone service instead of local WiFi, you will never get ads.
Now without ads, this app is great, there are so many possibilities for use of Reach medals in real life. Much enjoyment will ensue.
The only reason I didn’t give this app 5 stars was because some of the medals sound really choppy in this app, and sometimes even gameplay sounds can be heard, most notably in the ‘betrayal’ sound, where you literally hear a spartan die in the background. Hopefully these audio files get replaced with cleaner and smoother ones in the future.
Ads an ridiculous for this app
I don’t usually leave reviews, and I don’t usually complain too much about ads of free apps, but when this app turned out to be a ridiculous ad riddled waste of my time, I felt the need to review it. Press play 2 or 3 sounds and boom, another 30 second ad, or even worse, an ad that I couldn’t skip until I interacted with it. Then click on a different button and the app opens some clickbait article in safari. Cool app, but don’t waste your time.
